Crook County Fire and Rescue was dispatched at 6:33pm for a working structure fire in SE Prineville. Crews arrived to find a shop completely involved in fire with fire spreading to a camp trailer and house. Crews quickly brought the flames under control and remained on scene for two hours mopping up hotspots. 14 firefighters two engines an ambulance and a water tender responded to the scene. The house sustained significant damage and the shop and trailer were a complete loss. The Red Cross responded to the scene and provided assistance to the displaced occupants of the home. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
