Crook County Fire & Rescue responded to a commercial structure fire reported this morning at approximately 04:20. A driver for Western Heavy Haul noticed smoke and flames showing from their large industrial shop.
CCF&R responded with three engines and two medics. The fire was quickly contained and extinguished. There were not any workers inside when the fire occurred. The fire started from a propane heater that was being used and spread to the walls in an corner area of the shop.
A few equipment items were damaged in the fire, total losses are estimated at approximately $20,000.
